Song Of The Week #20

Without knowing it, many of you may have already heard this artist’s work. It is my  pleasure to present to you:

Holly Brook – It’s Raining Again

This talented singer-songwriter may be more familiar under her stage name, Skylar Grey.

Yes, this is indeed the same Skylar who co-wrote Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie”, Diddy’s “I’m Coming Home” and Lupe Fiasco’s “Words I Never Said”.

Fear not however, as this early work of hers is an altogether different (and quite honestly, better) experience – one filled with haunting melodies and serene harmonies laced over heavy piano chords.

It’s Raining Again is from her 2010 O’Dark: Thirty EP.
