Song Of The Week #19

Allow me to introduce to you the song that single-handedly brought me to the synth world:

The Pass – Trap Of Mirrors

As much as I’d like to tell you all about them, I can’t.  These guys are literally invisible on the web – I don’t even know how I came across them anymore. Quite frustrating, really, but anyway, here’s something I can tell you: they are an amazing psychedelic synth pop four-piece from Louisville that bear a strong resemblance to daft Punk (not surprising, seeing as they are The Pass’s greatest influence).

To date, they have had  two albums, both signed  to sonaBLAST! records.

Trap of Mirrors is from their second album ‘Burst’ released on September 21, 2010.
