Song Of The Week #15

It’s always a welcome surprise for me to discover incredible bands via movies. Having said that, allow me to introduce to you a group I looked up after watching the film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World:

Metric – Help I’m Alive

The actual song that had appeared was ‘Blacks Sheep’, however this one’s just as fun.

Metric is a four-piece Canadian indie rock band formed in 1988. To date, they have released five full-length albums, with their first (Old Underground, Where Are You Now?) managing to win them the Juno Award for Best Alternative Album.

Help I’m Alive is the first single from Metric’s fourth studio album Fantasies, released on April 7 of 2009.

Cheers!
