For all you Psych fans out there, a bit of trivia: (almost) every episode in the series contains a pineapple.
Strange but true. At least, I think it’s strange, and I’m assured it’s true. At any rate, my favorite pineapple-related piece has to be:
The Downtown Fiction – Happy (Without You)
This song is yet another gem I discovered whilst YouTube browsing. Again, I cannot stress the fact that there is just so much good music out there waiting to be discovered. Anyway, it was the album cover that really caught me: there was something strangely attractive about a chalk-drawn pineapple that made me think ‘I might wanna listen to this’.
The Downtown Fiction is a pop rock band hailing from America, founded by high-school friends Cameron Leahy and Eric Jones in 2008. Like many others, they started off on MySpace, where their fan base began. To date they have had four Eps and one studio album.
Happy (Without You) is off their 2011 EP ‘Pineapple’.
